When placing your order, we consider the order processing time and the shipping time when calculating the Estimated Delivery Date.

Order Processing: This is the amount of time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping. This typically takes 1–2 days however, some orders may ship within as few as 4 hrs and some may take up to 5 days. Everything we sell is handmade and takes time to create. During our busy seasons, production is on-going but we still do sell out of items. We appreciate your patience as we make your order fresh.

Shipping Times: Typically shipments are made via FedEx 2-Day and Overnight.

You will receive an Estimated Delivery Date. Please note that this is not a guaranteed delivery date for your order. Some areas may take longer due to the frequency of deliveries to the delivery zip code. We cannot be responsible for shipping delays due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control once your package leaves our facility.

Warm weather delivery sometimes requires that we ship chocolate with frozen cool packs using 1 or 2-Day service; also we will hold any Thursday orders until the following Monday for shipment unless you have authorized overnight delivery. We will have to monitor the weather of your shipping address in order to make a determination.

We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. Please verify shipping addresses; shipments returned due to incorrect shipping address or because of businesses being closed will not be refunded.

How long does Chocolate last?

Our chocolate has a shelf life of well over 6 months. If your chocolate treat is made with apples, we suggest eating within a week; up to two weeks whole in your fridge. The popcorn and pretzels are best eaten within 2 weeks; although they are still edible, the popcorn will start to lose its crispness. Strawberries are the most perishable and should be consumed right away. We give them a special bath before dipping, then we dip them within 24 hours of your order. Please enjoy them!
Be sure to store the chocolate properly. We do not recommend refrigeration or freezing. Chocolate can have a "bloom", which is a discoloration or pattern in the chocolate. The taste is completely fine, so feel free to enjoy it. Simply store the product at room temperature (63-68*F) and keep away from direct sunlight or other sources of heating. Also remember to keep protected from strong odors (chocolate will absorb the odors from their surroundings).

What about Allergies?

Our kitchen may have cross-contamination in regards to gluten, soy and nut products. Although most of our chocolate does not contain nuts, it is manufactured in a kitchen using equipment that also handles products containing nuts, eggs, wheat flour, dairy, and soy.
We do not have any sugar-free or gluten-free products "at this time", but we are exploring some options.

When is your Chocolate Kitchen open?

We only accept walk-ins when we have staff available to assist you and we are not in the middle of production. We opened our store-front post-covid, and almost all of our space is being used for making delectible goodies!
We do have our chocolate placed in several locations, as well as bringing our chocolates to off-site events; and if you visit our Facebook page, you can get the most current info on that!

Is White Chocolate really Chocolate?

“White Chocolate” is not a chocolate at all because it contains no cocoa solids.  White Chocolate coating is a mixture of sugar, vegetable fat, milk and whey, with emulsifiers and flavoring.

The FDA mandates that in order to be called “chocolate”, the fat content of the cocoa product is limited to cocoa butter (the naturally-occurring fat of the cocoa bean) and dairy (milk) fat.
